Hey I'm Mike. When i swing i drive off my back leg. I was wondering should i focuse on keeping my weight back when in my batting stance so when i stride my weight stays back and generates more force when my foot turns. I have a small stride so there wouldn't be a big weight transfer from back to front. Or should i keep my weight even or on my front foot.

>>Mike, driving is important but when to drive is key.If you drive off with stride then you'll cut off your hip turn and be more weight shift. If you stride while keeping your weight back and as the lead heel comes down and you push back with the front leg you drive forward with the rear knee you well get a powerful rotating of the hips and end up centered because of the offseting of each.
