Jack, what do you think of Cal Ripkens swing. To me it looks like he has good lower body mechanics but he extends his arms at the ball and loses some power. He did have success with his linear swing. I think he would have had a lot more productive offensive numbers had he mastered the rotational swing. I think it is a shame there are so many coaches that teach the linear swing. They mean well but they are ruining many young players careers. I hope your ideas spread and someday rotational mechanics are the most commonly taught swing mechanic.
