They are a short-hand method of referring to a fairly complex group of swing mechanics. – I often receive e-mails from dads asking if they purchased our dvd, would their kids be able to understand and perform the material. My advice to them is “no” -- the dvd was not produced primarily for our youth.

A young hitter may understand some of the drawings and principles presented, but it will take a knowledgeable dad or coach to drive home the importance of what they are seeing.

Jack,

I never meant kids should understand your dvd's or terminologies but if you intend on using same; you will still have difficulty getting the dads of those kids and coaches of those kids to be able to translate YOUR terms into "kid friendly" understandable applications.

Sounds like you cover yourself by not promoting your dvd's as for kids or even for youth coaches.

So..if you aren't reaching the dads and youth coaches on how to teach your stuff out on their fields to kids then who is?

It is clear throughout your site that there are what 10-15 adults who swap your terms back and forth while I am sure the majority who visit here get lost in the acronyms. It is also clear of those 10 to 15 they do not hesitate to inform those not in tune with 3 letter acronyms that "we are clueless".

So Jack if your intended target market for your dvd's is the select self proclaimed hitting guru's on here then what do you offer the tens of thousands of youth coaches who need more simplified hitting CUES?

Maybe you need a similar notice or disclaimer on your website that will let visitors know most of what you post and have here is over their heads. Though I am sure most figure that out on their own.

Good luck with your project.
