I agree dad level coaching is all over the place. If your son is, or becomes, a superior hitter they should shut up and leave him be. Until then it's your technique against theirs. I'm one of those dads that "spend untold hours studying, researching, analyzing" and gave up in frustration. I went with a batting coach.
