tremendous difficulty hitting the ball

Posted by: Paul Stein (metsnation@gmail.com) on Mon Jul 12 07:36:42 2010

I am 15 years old right now and about 5 foot 6 and 115 pounds. Since I am relatively small, I have to use rotational mechanics to hit the ball. However, in my first year of playing High School baseball for the JV team, I experienced tremendous difficulty hitting the ball. I found that I was either far behind the ball, or could not reach the ball on the outside corner. I usually do not hit for power and I would like to know how to do so. Furthermore, I wish to know how to reach the ball on the outside corner or if I am over rotating. Thank you in advance.
