Hey reddog>I know what your up against with everone trying to teach linear mechanics .I was at at family outing last summer and had a disscussion with my wifes cousin who I hear was a power hitter in college .He had just taken the high scool baseball team he was coaching to the new york state championship finals.He started showing me how he hit and teaches his players to hit.when the subject of shoulder rotation came up he said he doesnt teach it and never used the shoulders to hit himself.I said to him as strong as you look even you could not hit balls over 400ft by just using your hands .I dont belive anyone can. He disagreed .I since have torn photos from a newspaper of two major league hitters that I keep in my wallet. The photos were taken at point of contact. both batters had hit homeruns and their shoulders are very rotated if the subject should ever come up again with anyone elese .I keep the photos for any one intrested
