I have one that is 11 and one that is 7. I noticed last Spring that what I/we were teaching the kids was not the fundamental technique that the pros are using. We don't have cable TV, so I was not used to seeing the pros hit, so when I watched the 2006 World Series DVD, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Now, I'm trying learn all I can about the proper fundamental hitting technique and to undo some damage to the older one, but he is coming around nicely I think. I had not ruined the younger one yet.
