I was showing these pictures (on the importance of shoulder rotation and rotation in general) to my sons less than an hour ago before I saw this post.

How important does it look like DiMaggio thinks shoulder and other rotation is to his hitting? From the pictures, it looks like DiMaggio wants to swing around as hard and as far as he can before he goes into coast mode - decelerating the bat.
