What would be the consiquences of not using top hand tourqe. What i me

an is pulling the top hand like you pull the bottom.



If you pull them both forward at the first movement the bat will not travel far enough to generate good batspeed.However I also see a situation where the lead hand pulls and the top hand does little at the beginning and the bat just falls into line creating bottom hand torque later in the swing or can also create a linear swing if the arms stop connection from the rotating shoulders.I saw a great shot of Barry Bonds on a cover of tuff stuff magazine it is a great still shot right in the middle of his swing.
