You make me very proud to be a Missourian. You hit a home run with this post. I would only add that some hitters (like Sheffield) start with more cock in their bat and start pulling the bat back before initiation. Sort of like letting the clutch out easy to get things moving before pushing the peddle-to-the-metal. Other than that you leave me with little need to say more.
