Mark H,
No reason to bow out. Pete Rose was as fine a contact hitter as anyone over the last 40 years. I have a great clip of Rose with the camera view from over his head. I was amazed after viewing the clip just how rotational his method was. I would have guessed this astroturf all time hit leader would have used the linear methods of the era.
