I have been studying as many tapes of Pro Slo pitch softball players as I can, as well as Jack's tape. The major difference between slo-pitch swings and baseball seems to be that the swing plane is on average considerably higher than baseball , and preferred contact with the ball is typically just below shoulder height. Also ,since there is lots of time to judge the incoming pitch there is lots of time to make larger couter rotation moves, larger leg and bat hitches etc. .
If you look at Mike Machenko's site at www.bigcat844.com you will find advice on light bat / heavy bat training and slo pitch hitting ideas.
