Front foot

Posted by: Bill (drrupertbleemal@yahoo.com) on Sun Mar 28 10:23:21 2010

I purchased the Final Arc video and find it very helpful in assiting my grandsons to hit. I have a question regarding placement and or rotation of the lead foot. In the video showing the practice how to, the front foot is first closed then rotated during the swing until arriving at the contact position. However, in the video I do not see John rotating his foot to contact. Nor do I see it in the videos on MrBatSpeed (also very helpful and informative). Please expand. Is rotation of the foot for training purposes only or should they also actually rotate to hit?

Thanks
Bill
