Weight Shift

Posted by: Dan (nyydk42@gmail.com) on Tue Oct 17 13:38:10 2006

I have since early in high school believed in the basic concepts of rotational hitting. However I have always been confused about the role of Weight Shift. From my understanding Epstein and his followers believe that most of the weight should always be on the back leg. However guys like Griffey have almost no weight on the back leg at follow throw. And A-Rod in 05 had very little weight at swing finish as well. So what you you guys think the role of weight shift is?
