I have found great success by having the hitter not lock up the front leg so hard and early (Almost like stepping on a brake pedal in a car). I remind them to "float" the front foot as though they are about to step on thin ice. You are hitting the ball early and that is why the ball pulls to right. The ball should get a bit deeper in the zone to dump over to right. dont force a pitch to the opposite side find the pitch you can hit over. If the pitch is inside and you try to dump it you will probably groundout to 2nd base. I was a pull hitter myself and can put the ball where I want with the right pitch.
