> Tell me more of mental hitting,I'm a big strong hitter and told I have potential by scouts but there is something missing I'm just a little off with alot of pitches and I only think about mechanics and seeing the ball.I also find myself straining to see waiting to long like your focus.Tell me more and your credentials and where you played and when, this is all new to me RQL,thanks alot.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Your in 100% focus to early then losing it before the pitch comes.Start learning yourself and get a handle on it lots of swings on a tire or tee learn contact point on certain pitches to get it in the hole.Learn to keep it away from 2nd if your a lefty.A free tiphere ,watch for catchers who pound there gloves outside on your team mates then set up inside if it is right hander to righty batter or lefty lefty that pitch will almost always be an inside fastball, prepare for that when you here the catcher do it to you they make it obvious. So you want credentials, did'nt know I needed to fill out resumes for hitting advice.Capt of 1976 colt league world champions,capt1977 state runner up highschool,All American H.S. Capt all conference H.S. My high Schools all time batting champion .492 All state Junior college catcher got taught by Johnny Bench how to catch.Senior year at uni.South Carolina became all time batting champion at .404 record was broke 2 years ago set a college world series H.R.record when it was a bigger field with higher walls then it is today.1st team All American catcher div.1 college.Career ended with Phillies playing catch with Pete Rose my Idol and tore my arm up throwing not warmed up.Always warm up!!Hope that's good enough for you on the credentials that's all I got son. >>>>1how do I see it better.2how can I learn to know what's coming and how does it help. Why keep it away from shortstop I'm righty.Sounds like you played on some great teams were you really your H.S. and college's all time batting champion.

> ,,,Lot of qustions here,Why do you not hear about it anywhere is a good ques.Maybe people don't know how to win or not think about taking oppurtunities, seldom do I get much interest here on the subject. It works though it is a huge edge to not get fooled.>>>>The hit and run idea to me is to try to get 1st and third situation,if you just put it in play why not bunt.I suggest you move off the plate to get more balls away from you then think hit the top of ball with barrel behind the hands,So the coach thinks I'm a cheater, well I won't say your playing for a loser. Why does coaches giving signs go through all the signs, why does catchers put down 3-4-5 signs with a man on 2nd,it is to prevent the other team from picking them up,just like the bunt or steal. There is a reason I went to a world series or state tournament 5 out of last 7 years I played amateur ball, its because I learned how to take advantage of other teams. In the College WS I had other teams trying to pick up my signals behind the plate, its a great part of the mental game but this site is more concerned with just the physical movements of the body in hittting.
