swing down v swing up

From my experience, i believe swinging down or swinging up are really not the answers. You don't swing down to the ball or swing up on the ball. You swing level to the baseball, not level to the ground. So if the pitch is a low pitch you will have an uppercut, if the pitch is high you will have a level swing or even a down swing. If the pitch is right down the middle you will have a slight uppercut because the ball is descending thus you have to get level to the ball

Jack, when i am hitting i focus on rotating my back shoulder 180 degrees to power my swing through. I focus on rotating my hips before my hands and have good bat speed, is this the correct technique for bat speed.
