Specifically, what is causing the rotation of the shoulders? Contraction of the large muscle groups causes contraction of the large muscle groups. How does rotation factor in?

Also, how does lead-shoulder rotation pull the bat rearward on the approach to contact? How is this not drag? Your THT term would initially create rearward action on the barrel, but pulling with the lead shoulder would in effect cancel out this action. >>>

I tried to address these questions with video along with my verbal analysis. If I was not able to convey these principles using both, I doubt that my description of them with words alone would be of much value to you.
