HI DJC I belive the outside pitch is a tough location for most batters any way. look how many pitchers make their living out there,with the rotational swing I belive a batter can cover both sides of the plate with basically the same swing and still hit the ball hard I own a series of batting tapes where the instuctor who is a former oakland Athletics batting coach teaches two different swings one for middle and inside pitches knob to the front hip,then on outside pitches he teaches a push type of swing now i belive thats diffucult thing to do
