Mark/guys,

I totally agree and teach my team to hit that way. But lately, a couple kids have gone to a trainer/ex college player that says you WANT to create that backspin to hit harder shots. Just seems WAY to hard to try and do something like that to me!

Does anyone have a link or some math data that shows the effect of backspin on the ball either traveling further or gaining loft?
