Re: knuckleball

If the plane of the swing is the same as the flight of the ball than how do you hit that knuckler?

The knuckleball is a very tough pitch to hit because the ball has a definite movement that can not be tracked or predicted. the ball glides through the air at a speed that the batters have a hard time trying to follow through with their bats. therefor, you should try to put as many left handed batters in the lineup against the knuckleball pitcher because they can see the pitch better tham the right handed batters can. I have faced many knuckleball pitchers in my twenty year career and I can tell you that even a large tree trunk can't hit the knuckleball.
