Thomas is the hotter hiter right now and if I'm not mistaken, Thome has been stuck on 39 homers for a while. Thomas also seems to be more of a mistake hitter whereas Thome will expand his zone a bit(Although he does have many walks, he strikes out just as much or more). Thomas has the ability to hit any pitch hard and out of the ballpark.
