Thanks for the reply Chuck.

What would you say is "deep" versus "out front"? With a ptich in the middle of the plate, he is typically hitting it 3-4 inches in front of his front thigh (he's a righty, so his front side is his left). Inside pitches are probably contacted at 5-6 inches in front of the front thigh, and outside pitches are contacted at the front of the back thigh.

Thoughts/suggestions?
