would you reccommend taking swings into a stack of tires to practice ba speed at point of contact? .....YESYESYESYES.DEFINITELY YES

> Pete Guys when I played[finished in early 80s]There was no speed devices,and this was a tool to use that was convenient and required no one else.You can also use it to build strength by using heavier bats there's a plan somewhere here and at setpro for building batseed with swings.Alot is visualization you can pretend to see the ball coming to a spot then swing there on the tire.You can also focus on your mechanics and be able to stop right at contact and see how you are balanced and if hips and shoulders are where you want them.Finally the tire or bag absorbs the energy and you do not expend more in the follow thru.
