Hi South I dont think any one could deny that reading a pitch is one of the most important abilities as a hitter, other wise a batter would be able to close his eyes have a pretty swing and be a good hitter .The point I was trying to make a batter can be a complete hitter avg and power withtin this system top hand torque and early bat speed enable a batter to hit both locations with the same swing I belive the adjustments are made at swing ignition and not in the middle of the swing I do have hitting tapes by the oakland athletics former hitting instructor where he did recommend two different swings for inside and outside pitches which Ibelive diffucult to do
