I have been working on keeping his weight centered over his belly button during prelaunch and try to hide his hands and or touch his right thumb to his right shoulder during loading to help. What I am seeing now is that when he attempts to swing at pitches he swings way before the ball ever gets to the contact zone. Is this a result of the linkage being fixed and batspeed/efficiency going up? What can I do to help him with his timing. When he does time it correctly he does hit with alot more power now.

Gary, With out seeing him swing, try telling him to make shure his stride foot is down before the pitcher releases the ball.
