Japanese Technique

Posted by: Wade (wildcatrud@aol.com) on Mon Aug 28 22:24:40 2006

I love to watch batters swing and look for the differences. Ichiro always had a strange style. I thought that until I watched the Japanese team in the WBC where players looked to be using he same technigque as Ichiro. And now I have seen the same thing from he Japanese little leaguers. Is this the rotational style, or is it too over the top? They seem to wind themselves like a spring and throw everthing into the pitch in a rotational style, almost moving all their weight forward, with their hands coming through the strike zone at the very last possible moment. Does anyone have any comments.
