Hi Zig

Welcome back to the site. -- As we discussed before, I have also conducted research of the swing with a Motion Studies Computer. Therefore I have no doubt you have collected accurate data on the acceleration and deceleration of the bat and limbs throughout the entire swing. However, I may very well question how you (and your staff of 23 technicians) interpret that data.

As an example, you made a point of asking Brian “can you tell me the bat speed at impact and 1/240th of a second after impact?” – How you interpret the data can have a great impact on the advice you give a hitter regarding his swing mechanics. Therefore, regarding a hitter’s swing mechanics, what conclusions have you drawn from your data on a batter’s “bat speed at impact and 1/240th of a second after impact?”

We can address some of the other points of your post after you have responded to the above topic.
