If you drive the knob away from the midline or belly button ( in a CHP) then you will find that you must turn to move it in that direction. When it reaches the point of lead arm extension then the barrel will unhinge.
If you allow the knob to go to pitcher or worse to SS of 3B you have big problems casting etc.
Having the shoulders turned back at foot plant such that they point to the right of the pitcher is an upstream goal that can help the young kids get the hands on the inside track for a CHP or turning the knob to the oppo box.
I understand you need to find teaching cues. Jacks swing analysis is correct however IMO
