> Hello, I'm a 16 year old girl and i am 5'1 and 108 pounds, I am having trouble choosing the right bat for me, because i have a easton bat which is 32'22 but it is way to heavy for me. everytime i swing i feel like i am dragged by my bat. Can i get some suggestions before i buy another bat that's going to be too heavy foe me . what brand and what bat specificly would be good for me. by the way I am in a traveling team and planning to play in my college team.

Choosing a bat has to do with feel as much as anything. If you can swing other bats to see how they feel, that would be the best way to tell what length and weight is good for you. It doesn't matter what the charts say or what other kids are using.

How long have you been using this bat? is it longer than your last bat? If it's longer and heavier it could feel like you're swinging an oar at the ball.

Try out some lighter bats, maybe go down to a 31 or even a 30- you'll have a smaller sweet spot, but you will get around quicker and be better able to get your bat on the ball.
