back leg power

Posted by: Dave (NYTino20@aol.com) on Thu Jun 22 07:30:58 2006

I'm always messing around where ever I am with a swing. I will be standing at work and get in my stance and everything is there except a bat of course. Well I was messing around last night and I really tryed squishing the bug just to get my back leg to do what I wanted it to do and ultimately that is help my rear hip turn towards the ball and I couldn't believe the power I felt just messing around. I definetley know that I never felt this before in any swing or mess around swing. I think this is a crucial part of the swing and probably one that many don't get the most out of. I really couldn't believe the power that I felt just from doing this and I can't wait to keep practicing this to see if I can get my bat speed up.
