My friends said that if you squat you will stunt your growth is that true? Thanks

1- learn proper technique. This avoids back and knee injuries.
2- build up with moderate weights with proper technique to build a base of strength AND avoid muscle stiffness and soreness which really messes up pitching and hitting mechanics.
3- it takes 5-6 weeks before your body starts building mass, don't rush it. the second 6 weeks of a 12 week cycle is where you make the bigger gains, don't get impatient
4- consistent workout schedule is better than erratic
5- squats are only part of a full program and must be balanced by other exercises AND plymetrics to balance strength with quickeness
(strength AND quickeness equals POWER)
6- read, learn, go to a gym and get help, etc.

If done right, this can help a lot.
