Thanks for the input. Here is another question. I see a lot of bats with what they call flexible handles now. The bat is supposed to flex at a certain point and then whip back into the zone. Sounds great, but what is your take on these. Can a kid of 7-10 years old really swing a bat hard enough to flex even these flexible handles? Does the bat flex differently if the swing speed is a bit different on a given swing. Say a fastball swing as apposed to an off speed swing. I know they should be the same swing, but rarely are. If it is an advantage I want to look into it. If not I will stay with the standard bat.

Just curios, not trying to start a serious debate here.
