Re: stricking with end of bat

If you often make contact, that is GOOD! But I suggest getting a little bit closer to the plate and concentrate on striding toward the pitcher in a straight line. Also if you can, experiment with a longer bat with the same weight or slightly lighter weight. This will give you added length to hit the ball on the sweet spot. Don't forget to put your work in at the batting cage. Good luck.
