bathead path

Posted by: Mark (bcf1@mindspring.com) on Tue Jun 5 12:32:07 2001

Taking as a given that bathead path should be in line with ball path, doesn't that mean, on a low pitch hit squarely, you would drive the ball somewhere in the middle of the field? On a high pitch, you could have your bathead path in line with the ball flight path and still pull it or hit it the other way. On a low pitch, if you turn early and pull the ball the other way, due to the angle of the bat you must be crossing the pitch flight path? Same thing going the other way.

If this has been covered, forgive me as I am new here.
