How do you know that they don't? Just because they haven't (or maybe they haven't done it in a game) that doesn't mean that they don't possess the ablitiy to. Pujols, Bonds, and Ortiz are STRONG guys but all three of them have the ability to hit for high avg. as well as hitting long majestic home runs because of their approach at the plate. Long home runs are amazing and are beautiful to watch, but I think we're TOO in love with them. It's not all about home runs you know, it's about scoring runs. The teams with the most runs wins- home runs by themselves only count for ONE run. Now if they changed the rules to count 485ft blast and on to count FOR MORE THAN ONE RUN, then I could understand. But they don't...
