I coach a 6 year old baseball team. Our boys have really grasped the fundamentals of the game and seem to be doing very well. In our league we get 3 pitches and 2 off of a tee if needed. Our boys rarely have to hit off of a tee. next year we have the choice of player pitch or coach pitch. We have a few parents pressing us to move to player pitch. My gut feeling is that it would do our team more good to spend one more year in coach pitch and work on more skills. Any suggestions or thoughts on this decission?
