Bondo,

Keep in mind that Ted Williams is the greatest hitter that ever lived. Although I agree that kids should "try what they see that looks good on someone else", I'd would caution that notion to a point. He is a major league, Hall of Fame hitter, thousands- hundreds of thousands of swings have made that swing. Just because someone swings the way they do, it doesn't mean that that way is you. "It is not a Williams method or a Dimaggio method or a Ruth method.
