Thanks Tom,
I am familiar with these simulations, and actually wrote a piece in May 2008, reflecting my
earlier thoughts about the shortcomings of Nyman's simulations. My insights have since
been re-hashed several times over, but I am working out the bugs before I formally
present an argument.

I am also aware of the double pendulum simulation, and which Mankin refers to many
times over. The graphic produced by the simulation is a hint of what I am working on.
