Hi Tom

His mannerisms and knowledge of the swing was formed in the Nyman era and I doubt he will ever shake those shackles. He has become so close minded to the term "THT" that I doubt he would allow himself to grasp the importance of the bat's rearward acceleration.

Hi,
THT definitly exist, but what causes it has never been well define. First, we have Pre launch THT, that is mainly caused by the backward rotation of the chest. The THT during the launch phase is caused by the forward rotation of the chest toward the ball that causes the shoulder rotation.
I dislike the terminology used for it because the hands don´t have to do the most work.
