Very interesting. I get the sense that you are facing the same kind of challenge Christopher Columbus must have faced when pitching his new ideas. What you say makes alot of sense but it just flys in the face of everything most of us were taught as kids. I'm an Angel fan and I've noticed Vlad G. seemingly pulling his head out alot but if what you say is true do you think he is a good model for young hitters?

I always assumed he was just a physical freak and that his power and hand-eye coordination over came poor mechanics.
