RQL,

The old 1500 is still sold by distributors that purchased that model yrs ago. That old model has been discontinued and replaced with an adjustable swing path also. The angle adjustment at the base of the unit of the 1500 is smaller than the 5000 unit. The 1500 now has a swing path that levels out and with the ball on the tee reaches 6-10 degrees to allow the barrell to come up to the ball. We sell a base that can help convert the old model to the new 1500 version. The downward swing path is still something that coaches want in the product. This was surveyed by me to find out what the wants and needs were for this product as a whole from coaches. This path I found is mainly in the fastpitch world.

EL,
