I like Dr Yeagar's thoughts on this. It is not weight but pressure. The transfer of pressure from back to front causes this. If you look at video you will see the back foot off the ground. But the body is centered. The transfer of pressure from back to front. The front side blocks that pressure and helps rotate the front side. I am a firm beliver that is is not the back side that produces pwr. It is the front side! The front side drives the swing/pwr. The blocking of the front side and turrning of the lead hip drive it. If you do that you will see the back foot will be light on the ground. If not your hitting off the back side and spinning. Which I feel is bad.

It stands to reason that the hitter has either been fooled somewhat, but has kept his hands back long enough to be effective or he has swung extra hard which causes excess forward linear movement. Hank Aaron and Gary sheffield also had this finishing position. Players who finish with the back leg off the ground tend to hit more line drive homeruns rather than towering flyballs.
