Hi Donny

You nailed it. When you have mechanics that generate early bat speed, you can really drive outside pitches to the opposite field. I recommend practicing to hit outside pitches straightaway. If you are a little early, you hit the ball to the pull side – a little late, it goes to the opposite field. In either case, generating bat speed early in the swing allows you to hit the ball hard.
