Re: cure loop in swing

Rich,
Take a look at whether his head is dipping down towards the plate during the swing. The head is like a bowling ball and where it goes, often is where the swing goes, causing the loop. Too much tee work forces the eyes to look down on the tee instead of straight ahead at the pitch. You hit the trajectory of the pitch and looking down at contact may cause the head to turn/dip. Try having him turn his head far enough so that both eyes are looking straight ahead and level to the pitcher throughout the swing.
