>>Some of the cues that I tell my son, who has been using the rotational mechanics for the past year, are the following:

1. Hide the hands from the pitcher.
2. Don't bring the hands forward; get to the power V position.
3. Once front foot hits the ground there is no forward movement of the body.
4. Lock your front arm in place and pull the hands and barrel around.
5. Rotate hips, shoulders and arms together around a stationary axis.
6. Stay tight between your front arm and your body at the arm pit.
7. Rotate through contact.

My son is a Sophomore in High School and has been using the rotationsl hitting concept for one year and it has increased his power and consistency at the plate. Coaches can't believe how rotational mechanics have increased his bat speed and power. It is really a simple swing concept and much easier to execute than the linear swing. It just takes time for the player to adjust and get confidence in the swing. The videos that Jack posts on the site and watching the MLB Players, who swing rotational, also helped me explain the swing to my son.
