Re: Top Hand Grip?

Hi Alfred

Alfred it does not require a firm grip with both hands on the bat to keep it from flying free. A more firm grip with the bottom hand is all that is needed. The top-hand can take a looser grip that will allow the bat to turn in the fingers and prevent a bind in the wrists from occurring. Think of the top hand grip as working like a “bearing” on the bat instead of a “vise” grip.
