Welcome to the site. – You are referring to a 2002 discussion http://www.batspeed.com/messageboard/6759.html. You would be better served not following the advice Joe A gave. Mechanics that would have you extending the arms toward contact will stall your performance. – I have often heard the term, “lock out the front leg” but never quite understood its meaning. Would you explain the difference between “extending a bent leg” and "locking out the leg?"
