Trusting your hands?

I have trouble trusting my hands in my swing, as a result i will make up my mind on if i am going to swing before the pitch is thrown. I do have fast hands and when i am taking batting practice i can wait and crush the ball but during a game i will get my weight out on my front leg. What can i do to help my problem or to pick the ball up earlier out of the pitchers hand to make a good swing?
