Melvin. No offense, but we are talking about a seven year old kid. At this point, he is not hitching to get his hands in a strong pushing anything. He has merely picked up a habit that is comfortable to him. At this time his father seems to believe it is unwarranted. Rather than get into technical analysis (though it may be helpful to some) basic information to solve the immediate concern is more helpful. Instead why do you not suggest specific tapes and or information which would actually solve his question?
